We are visiting from Australia and dined last night at the Ox Restaurant for the first time. Our friends with us had been there on previous occasions and had raved about the quality and staff. The entire meal was well beyond our expectations of excellence and quality. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Causal Saturday lunch I'll remember. Food was astounding. Fresh, seasonal and creative. Service excellent. Did the 3 course fixed rather than the 7 course tasting but added pairings, plenty of food and wine. Agree with another review, its definitely worth the star, and price reflects it. It was a great splurge for an anniversary meal.
