Everything, from the low ceilings and beautiful beams throughout, the warm welcome on what was clearly a busy evening, to the lovely staff who checked on us during our meal which was absolutely delicious. We had a satay chicken starter, for mains I had the sea bass and my friend had the steak. We were both impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing! This was out first visit here and it was to celebrate a special moment and I am so glad I chose Stag & Hounds, it was the perfect place.

I had the pan fried Salmon fillet with crushed new potatoes, samphire, chorizo etc. Presentation was on point, it was piping hot so could tell it hadn’t been sat there, the meal was full of flavour!! I could have had a second portion lol. 😂 They assured me the food is cooked in a separate area/fryer so cross contamination was avoided.
