Stephen Giraud★I've tried here before but sadly the food quality has plummeted drastically. The pastries were dry and the custard filling was very stodgy. Not the creamy soft texture your supposed to get with a pastel de nata. Having travelled a lot to Portugal to visit family for many years, I can confirm that what I tried today was well below the average bar. Tip to the management: I'm not sure what's gone wrong but please do something about the standard of what you're selling. Currently it's not good enough
Gary J★★★★★The pastel de nata are amazing and really authentic – having had them in Porto, I know (hopefully!) what makes a good one, and they certainly have them here – crisp, flaky pastry and a delicious filling. Good size, too. Didn’t catch her name, but the member of staff from Portugal was lovely.
Kiran Seth★★★★Missing Portugal's Pastel de Nata? This cafe will certainly satiate that craving. Had the original flavour. The pasty was thin & flaky. The filling was just the right texture of creaminess & indulgence. Topped it with cinnamon & it was heavenly! Requested the staff to warm it as it's best when it's hot...was informed thst since it has milk & cream, it can't be reheated. Wondering how it was baked! Didn't want to pursue, I just left. Can't understand why it's difficult to fulfil thst small request. Just minutes after, a whole new tray was out of the oven. Could have just served that one! A s
Sarah Bethia★★★★★I love this place! Every time I'm in, or even just near, Camden I make sure to visit and get some of their vegan pastel de natas. I took my mum for the first time the other day and she loved them too. Best ones I've found outside of Portugal.
