I had zero expectations when I stopped in this place, but it genuinely surprised me in the best way. What I appreciated most was the variety: alongside the classic pastel de nata, they offer more playful versions with chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, pistachio, and other flavours. I tried the pistachio pastel de nata and really enjoyed it. The pastry had that proper crisp, flaky texture, the custard was smooth and creamy, and the pistachio layer added a delicate nutty richness. It felt like a nice twist on the traditional version. I was told these were some of the best pastel de nata outside of Lisbon, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. After trying pastel de nata in both Lisbon and Paris, I can confidently say the ones at Café de Nata are very highly ranked among the best I’ve had. Passed this whilst working in the area and noticed they did Vegan Pastel De Natas and being Lactose intolerant thought I'd give it a try. They looked Really nice and quite a few flavours, Ive tried the Original so far and it was Delicious I must admit absolutely 10/10. Only negative point for 4/5 service was it was quite a wait time. he was brewing a coffee and watching it drip where he could have probably took my order whilst he was waiting for it to finish. But he was a really nice guy.

Having just returned from a trip to Lisbon, I was craving one last pastel de nata before accepting the holiday was over. This store did not disappoint! The pastel de nata’s tasted extremely authentic and were very tasty. They were reasonably priced and the service was quick and friendly. Was also cool to see them being made when ordering. Highly recommend if in the area.
