I'm really disappointed to learn that you no longer sell cask ale. One of the main reason's I've been coming to Dutton's over the years has been the quality and variety of your cask selection. It sets you apart from other places in the area and gave Dutton's a proper traditional feel. Cask ale is an important part of British pub culture, and it's frustrating to see it disappearing from Dutton's. Bottled and keg options just aren't the same, either in taste or character. I hope you will reconsider this decision, or at least consider bringing back a rotating guest cask. I know I am not the only

What an earth is happening to 'Duttons'. What was once Chester's stand alone treasure has decided to demote itself into the lower eschelons of pubs in Chester by making a dreadful decision of ditching its cask ale. If you look at the best establishments in Chester I think most people would agree they include The Cellar, The Cornerhouse, The Black Bush, The Boot, The Gnome, The Brewery Tap. Duttons was a huge rival to these big hitters but now unfortunately it is out of the running. In my opinion it should be trying to attract 'all drinkers' not reducing its clientele. I'm gutted!
