My Dad 'Peter' loves Browns Chippy. It's the only plaice to go in Chorley! He can't wait to get home to eat them & was so focused on eating the delicious food... last week he left his wallet on the roof of the car and lost it! The portions of fish were so big didn't fit in the packaging:) So he is going to go for pensioners' special now, which is a great idea to help budget and if watching your waistline:) Great Friendly service and easy parking. Best chippy for miles. Can get a really good deep fried haggis here too! Chip portions are fantastic, the owner has always been super friendly and happy! If you haven’t tried it yet, highly recommend you do!

Having visited this chippy for many many years we went this week to try the food under the new ownership. I have to say that the food was lovely - especially the fish - but I have to say the proce was high for the portion size. Fish chips peas and 2 barm cakes - £15.50! Seems expensive for how much food was presented
