Really disappointing visit after coming for many years. Ordered two small roasts: 1x beef with chips instead of mash. 1x lamb. The beef was missing the chips, when they did come back with the chips, most of them was black and inedible as seen in photo. The lamb version didn't come with a Yorkshire pudding. Nowhere on the menu did it specify this. Previously had the same order and potatoes much better. On this occasion I got just 1 potato that had clearly been in fridge a few days and microwaved. We asked for a big breakfast and all we got was sausage, bacon, egg, tomato and beans and some toast or for £7 70 think it. This is not a big breakfast that they served. I thought it was a kiddy's meal you need to up your game where was the hash browns mushrooms black pudding. The list goes on

Visited this morning (Mon 23rd Feb.)for breakfast. It is commendable that the cafe is kept very clean. However the member of staff at the counter was very blunt and void of a smile. It’s doesn’t take much effort to be welcoming. We took a seat with our hot drinks. The breakfast took quite a while to come resulting in the drinks becoming cold. The breakfast included toast which was cold, lacking butter and like cardboard . The fried egg was hard and must have been cooked before the rest of the breakfast. Went in today and ordered egg on toast simple easy meal half way through eating this I picked up a piece of toast to find tuna stuck to the toast I intensely dislike fish I am absolutely Fumming about this and lucky I was not allergic to it I just don’t like it but the staff just looked at me as to say what do you want us to do about it I was offered to take a cake away with me free but this does not make it right I just feel they need to be more carful when dishing up food .
