Totally dilapidated, run-down hotel. Needs a complete overhaul… from the broken entrance, to the garbage filled pond, dirty lift and crumbling exterior. We were there for a dance weekend, which was a blast, otherwise wouldn’t touch it. Conference facilities good. Rooms are shabby and utility basic. Beds and towels clean, no housekeeping offered. Hearty breakfast in clean dinner hall. Dinner unappetizing but hot and filling, salad offering limited but fresh. Staff are a saving grace - friendly and helpful. The room are normally fine and ok, on the day we went the toilet did not flush but the reception did everything he could to help. The room we got moved to was cool but the TV was not working but managed to fix it myself. All in all 6/10

After reading the reviews I was dreading our stay here, however we had a lovely time, the hotel is dated yes, however ain't majority of hotels in blackpool the same?. Food was lovely, staff was lovely, entertainment was great and the room was clean (dated but clean) I would definitely stay here again.

Booked a 1 night stay and won't be back. Having stayed here before we were disappointed at how dirty the bathroom was, also a broken window which didnt lock.room 5. We also had room 3 which was a twin accessible room which also was grubby and had an extra bed squeezed in which took up much needed space for a wheelchair user. Corridors are in need of a hoover. Never understood why people complained so much about this hotel but after this stay we totally understand.
