Not my favourite of the three spoons visited in Sussex. I did try an ale before I bought and it tasted ok. However, when drinking a pint of it, the taste wasn't as good and it remained cloudy. Fair play to the bar staff that swapped it for a Sea Fury.

We went in two days in a row, whilst visiting after a glum airport visit. The staff were helpful, happy, chatty. Enough to be there, but not too much to be in your face. Special mention to our new scouse mate, as he was BRILLIANT! Made our day so much easier, had a chuckle, listened and asked how we were the next day. Where do i start. I’ve had mixed experiences with the Jubilee Oak. However, on a Wednesday at 10:30pm, the atmosphere can only be compared to a poorly lit morgue. Severely disappointed. There was a 46 year old male staring at any female below 25. He was also watching the fruities like a hawk. Very off putting. Made me feel very uncomfortable and i struggled to finish my refreshment. Other than the above, i felt very secure that my drink would not fall over due to the sticky tables. The sticky floors was also useful after I’d had a few, and could barely stand.
