I'm not sure if the staff here have been told to be actively hostile to people ordering at the bar, in order to usher in this QR code scan system. Either way, the staff are so unpleasant to deal with, I would advise to just use the QR scan, it can take a while, but you'd only be stood at the bar getting ignored anyway. Leffe on tap is great, and obviously it's very good value. Wetherspoons have done a magnificent job converting the building. And in spite of the terrible service I would still recommend this place.

The place is beautiful — it used to be a bank, which makes the atmosphere really unique. This chain is a great choice: service is fast, prices are very affordable, and the staff is friendly. I’d recommend downloading the app to order, just make sure you’re selecting the correct location. We accidentally ordered from a different branch because we had a saved link, and unfortunately lost that order — but that was our mistake. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting!

For what you pay, the quality is not that bad. Menu deals are very good (around £12 for a burger and a soft drink). The restaurant is an old bank so inside is also a cool building. You can order either through a QR code or at the bar. It's a good place to watch rugby or football. Very good prices for the beers.

What a fabulous building! We went at breakfast time and it was very quiet really. There were quite a few people eating. We just popped in for a hot drink and a look around. I like the fact that there are smaller rooms as well as the large central area. It has so much character!
