Despite being underdressed, we were made to feel completely welcome. The whipped feta with beetroot and pumpkin seeds was excellent. The king prawns in chilli pil‑pil were full of flavour, with bread to soak up the sauce. The haddock Kiev with dauphinoise potatoes and Lockerbie cheddar custard was a standout.
