Cafe was quiet at approximately 4:30pm but despite that the tables and floors were filthy. An awful experience. I will choose one of the many other coffee shops in Craigleith shopping centre in future. I have never experienced this by M&S before.

I visited the cafe on 5th May around 2pm and was given excellent customer service by a gentleman called Jamie there was an issue with his till but he remained calm and explained to me what was happening and once fixed his great service continued while making me my coffee . Thank you

The standard of this M&S cafe doesn't match with other branches. It's chaotic and dirty. Customers had to clean the tables ourselves, using the spray and paper towel left out. Customers were expected to take their trays back to a dedicated place, but since thar shelf was oiled up, we could only move the used dishes to one table. Yet crumbs and spills everywhere on the floor. Don't get me started with the cake station. The plates provided were wet. Again, we had to use paper towel to dry them before putting the slice of cake on (self service). The cake server was filthy to say the least. Only
