Came across Söderberg while walking from my hotel and decided to stop in for brunch on a whim. They focus on Scandinavian pastries and I think I'm officiallyconverted. Everything I had was fresh, beautifully made and delicious. The space is small and charming, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I liked it so much that I actually ended up going back a second time before leaving Edinburgh. Definitely one of my favourite food stops from the trip. I’ll be keeping an eye out for their other locations.

didn’t realise this was a chain bakery!! the cinnamon bun and blueberry vanilla bun were nice; same with the coffee. however, we went in thinking this was local business and felt disappointed. they tasted nice but slightly old - the cinnamon bun was lush but the blueberry vanilla bun tasted the exact same as the cinnamon bun!! the cappuccino was too hot and there was a defined difference between the milk and the coffee as it was not combined at all. wouldn’t come again!

Went for a tosca bun - a traditional Swedish cardamom bun with mixed nuts and caramel. That and the matcha were decent. No flavour in the matcha, just pure earthy goodness 🌍

Superb coffee, pastries, quiche, and soup. Everything here is delightful. The place is cozy and clean. I was here almost everyday of my stay in EDI for morning coffee. Thank you for my delightful fave vegan cinnamon bun and good coffee. Location is good and nice area to have wander.
