Starbar has fast become our favourite spot in Edinburgh! The staff welcome you with open arms in a way that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Special mention to Bella, who runs the place like the Duchess she is, always keeping an eye on everyone having a good time. She also has a treasure trove of vintage goodies in her shop downstairs that you can’t miss. Don’t go if you’re not prepared to lose at foosball!!!

Been here a few times now, always lots of fun. Great when they have a DJ or live music especially. The staff are super helpful, speedy and great chat, especially Maz!!! Bit on the pricey side but cheaper than lots of others in the area. Me and my partner will definitely be back soon :)

A world of its own! Hidden gem! Favorite pub in Edinburgh! Starbar was the perfect find and we felt so grateful to be swept up into its cool little universe. The Duchess Bella and her delightful staff showed us such a good time that we had to come back multiple times in our quick trip from NYC. No fuss pints, perfect music, eclectic crowd, the perfect garden, and you might get to see the chic vintage clothes shop downstairs if you’re lucky! You may even get a free chocolate bar if you’re a sweetie pie. We were stunned by the warmth and unique grace of this fabulous place.
