We had just arrived at our hotel, and since there was a game on, we decided to grab something to eat before heading into the city, just in case everywhere was busy. Overall, the food was good, but nothing particularly memorable. The fish and chips were really tasty, but the burger tasted like one of those pre made supermarket burgers. That said, the service was great, our drinks were good, and we enjoyed our meal. It's a solid option if you're looking for a casual bite.

Let’s tell it straight,,, the food here was fantastic. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was long periods of waiting for food to arrive and generally waiting to be served. That said, one waitress in particular was superb and her name is Aisha…. To those in control at The Bothy, this lady is an absolute credit to your business, she was alert and aware to me and those around me and was always willing to g to assist.

Modern Edinburgh restaurant attached to hotel. Great place for events and rugby at Murrayfield as 2' walk from the stadium. Nice outside sitting area when the sun's shining. Nice beer and whisky but disappointed with what we ate. Space available for meetings and parties.0

Food was terrible worst we have ever had, we ordered burgers and came out within 5 mins of ordering. Tasted worst than a rustler burger and was tough as hell, very oily burger bun and chips that had been fried that much the potato had disappeared so it was just crunchy, very disappointing as had at least 4 stars on reviews which is deceiving. We were going to a concert beforehand therefore, wanted a close by eatery and this let us down massively. Avoid at all costs like the PLAGUE. Only good thing was the drinks but they were double would you would pay in a supermarket.
