Heather Suggitt★★★★★Although I wasn’t really sure we needed to, I booked reservations for 2 on a Monday at 7PM, and I was happy I did. They were on a wait shortly thereafter. Ava was our server and did a great job recommending the haggis and steak pie (pic) and sticky toffee pudding. Prices seemed reasonable - two entrees, dessert, 2 beers and a bottle of wine for $100 plus tip. Great dinner!
Sylwia Dabrowska★★★★I order soup it looked like big portion but it was in bread so less food, in general it was very tasty, a lot of fish pieces and some veggie. Servis was ok. Atmosphere there is good, nice pub for a drink.
Aide ail Thompson★★★★★First time, recommended to me for my first Edinburgh visit. This location absolutely did not disappoint. Our server Dan was knowledgeable, very personable, and attentive. If ever back in Edinburgh, will definitely stop by here again.
Kathleen Terz★★★★★Had a lovely experience at Piper’s Rest on 4-13. My server Natalle was awesome! Questions asked were responded to with a cheerful and friendly reply. The pub was clean and very cozy. I picked a perfect time for my late lunch as it was quiet and relaxing. Actually, all the staff I interacted with were super nice! The Cullen Skink soup was incredible, but another half ladle would have made it perfect as it in a large bread bowl. A little too much bread and not enough soup. Still enjoyed my experience and definitely will return.
