Best Indian I've ever had. Naan bread and byriani and chicken was some of the best things my taste buds have experienced. Service was great and all the staff were very kind and welcoming. Music and overall aesthetic was great as well. 10/10 experience would 1000% go again.

I'm giving this a 5 star review because these guys really did put the effort in. The food was brilliant, the value was also good too although I notice if you look on TripAdvisor there's discounts of 20%. We used a Tastecard and the offer of 25% wasn't applied to the bill, less in fact. We had to question that and the bill was then modified to suit the discount and include a small tip. If the bill had come out accurate, they'd have received a much bigger tip. £10 instead of the £4 they awarded themselves. The food was excellent though and the service was outstanding. Came here reading as authentic Bengali and Indian cuisine but it was quite misleading. Anyways that's not the point. Once the food was ordered , the service was useless. Raita was not made as mentioned. Chutney cum onion salad has no onion in it. Whole wheat roti was basically Maida and no aata in it. On complaining the owners brother was so rude that he literally came fighting. I guess they forget that they are in service industry and service is utmost. Further upon asking him to open his menu and read the ingredients mentioned in list and offered, he was rude enough to say YOU OPEN and I DO

A very nice and cozy Indian restaurant off the main drag of the royal mile in Edinburgh. We didn't have much as we had snacked a lot, so it was a lighter fare for us. The food we had was good, fresh and hot. At the time we were about to leave a couple of platters of sizzlers was delivered to our neighboring table which looked intriguing and yummy. Certainly smelt good. If I get a chance to go back there again, I might try that out. Service was fast and the staff were very friendly and the costs seemed OK for the location.
