H.★★Bar soba is usually my favourite restaurant but we were quite disappointed when we went last Saturday. We got the boozy brunch deal and the cocktails we were served were quite pitiful, and in unusual glasses. When I ordered a Bao Bun (which is meant to come with a noodle salad and seasoned fries, which it usually does and is still advertised on the menu!) the noodles were missing. When I asked the server why, she said it’s either or, but their menu states both. There are also vegan items listed as veggie but when you enquire you’re told they are vegan. :/ We also had to ask for seasoning on th
Chris De Gala★★★Booked via the First Table app and got 50% off. There were 4 of us who dined in. Food was ok. We ordered katsu curry tempura, thai green curry, nasi goreng and dragon prawn noodle. The noodle was bit salty. Drinks were ok. Pepper squid and cheeseburger springrolls (clever concept to asian spring rolls) were fantastic. Glad we had the huge discount. Mains were ok in general. Have had better curries and noodles around Glasgow.

Around our table there was Thai curries, katsu curries, pad Thai, boa buns, satay skewers, prawn tempuras, Nasi Goreng and more. The most popular dishes from Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian and Thai cuisine all condensed onto one crowd-pleaser of a menu. The staff were really good at explaining the menu for anyone who had questions. Having spent a lot of time in Thailand, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to Th
