skaria skaria★★★★I love this place for the way it looks and feels. All your basic meat and veggies requirements to be served here besides a few flower shops. Though, I would have a preferred a better selection of fish. Don't forget to visit the sweets shop which might be of interest to the adults as well.
Dr Jamie Smith★Hope feels like it left Freeman Street Market some time ago. Aside from a really good retro vinyl record shop which is worth a visit the wider market and street feels run down and neglected. The area is also not that safe which is worth being aware of when visiting. I happen to look like a bit of a thug myself so I was ok but I'd not recommend randomly walking around in the area if you can avoid it. Many former shops are boarded up etc. I was hoping that given the area is located there would be a superb range of fishmongers including here but the only crabs and lobsters on display were plastic
Heidi Lomax★★★★★I was surprised how many stalls were closed but I imagine this being a fishing town they work on early hours. The fruit and veg stall was lovely and the meat stalls looked great
Lea Phillips★★★★Love going to the market every Friday after work to get my wife her flower, meat from Gary's & all our other fresh products, use it or lose it is my moto.
