My sister and I stopped at Temperance on our drive back down to London to have breakfast, and I’m so glad we did! They have a really fun specialist hot drinks menu - I had the Banana Bread latte and my sister had the Earl Grey Coconut latte. Both really lovely, fun and well made! To eat, my sister got the french toast and I got the tuscan beans (though I did steal quite a few bites of her french toast, as well). Food fresh and tasty. Temperance Benni was flavoursome and the spice was just right. The meat breakfast was all locally sourced and cooked to perfection! Coffee hot and good quality. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The cherry apple pie juice tasted as expected. Everything perfect. All scrumpy and they cater for vegans or is it they cater for carnivores ! Well worth the visit and we will be back to try the next special.

For a coffee place it should go without saying that the coffee here is excellent (and it is!), but the brunch/breakfast options here are what make this the kind of place I wish we had round the corner - had probably the nicest almond croissant I've ever had here, and that was essentially a starter for this banging brisket eggs benedict. Sometimes an eggs benedict can be disappointingly dull, but they nailed the hollandaise and every element was spot on. Looking for an excuse to find myself in Halifax again!

This place is awesome. What a find! We enjoyed Turkish eggs, breakfast sandwich and grilled cheese. Every morsel was a flavour sensation!! I can’t rave about the food here enough…. DELICIOUS is all I’ve left to say. 😍
