The nearest station is Dalston Kingsland which is just over a ten minute walk to get here. . The Shakespeare Tavern as it was then called was built by Whitbread in 1866. Today it is run by one of the best pubco’s in London, Remarkable Pubs. . This once two bar pub has an elongated Island servery which has some superb colourful retro posters behind the optics. One of my favourite features of this pub are the two etched
