Firstly I have to thank the waiter, I don't know his name but he was a lovely man and all the wait staff at this location are outstanding. I had flown in to London and wanted to go to this particular branch as I used to go as a kid, and it was just as good as I remembered. The staff make this place, but so does the location and the vibe, but of course, it's the pizza that you really adore and they're as excellent as I remember. We visited pizza express for the first time in Angel Islington in the weekday afternoon one year ago. It wasn’t very busy. We were welcomed by a manager who seated us where we wished as it was almost empty. He was very polite and friendly. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Our food was delicious.
