Used to go here used years ago when it was more of a greasy spoon and been here a couple times recently. It’s definitely moved with the times and has lovely relaxed atmosphere inside. On my 2 recent visits I ordered a bacon and egg baguette and a cup of tea, the first time I was given a sausage and egg baguette and the second time the order was correct. Even though the first order was wrong this wasn’t problem for me, especially as both times the food was absolutely delicious, could tell all the ingredients were of a high quality and they toasted the baguette so it had a bit of a crunch to

In a street well served by flashy bars & eateries, Workers Cafe seems seems quite low key. Pleasant contemporary interior, friendly staff & really good food. Everything we had was well presented & interesting. Particularly recommend the meze. As we were eating early in the evening it was very quiet but we felt welcome & were served quickly. Really liked this place.
