Super welcoming and attentive service - they take note of regulars and their preferred food/drink orders, ready to help without helicoptering too much. Standard cafe food with sandwiches (big, 3 slices of bread), paninis, soup and cakes. Great choice of hot drinks and soft drinks (flavoured lemonade, ice cream floats!) and just a general all round inclusive vibe.

I was absolutely gutted as I specifically requested Victoria sponge, with jam and spoke at length regarding the design of the cake, when I placed the order at the shop. I sent images and a lovely message on instagram to cake ole, quoting it may have been a genuine mistake. The response I received was, jam is not included unless requested, which I clearly did and was noted on the order. No apology or acknowledgement giv
