A short walk from our B&B and very close to the Cathedral and the town centre 😀 Cafe on two levels 😀 Nice menu and specials 😀 Great coffee ☕️ 😀 Scrambled eggs on toast bacon and mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 Great service too so what’s not to like 😀 Eggs on avocado with 🥓 also very good. O was looking for a breakfast spot (not the typical British breakfast, since I think it’s no secret that British food isn’t exactly known for being delicious🫣). I came across this restaurant where they were still serving breakfast, and even though I arrived about ten minutes before breakfast service ended, the waitress kindly gave me the breakfast menu without hesitation. We visited Drakes on a glum and rainy day. The service we received and the food we had certainly brightened up not only my day, but four members of my family who were with me too. The staff here are super friendly, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect. Very reasonable pricing for the quality of food that was served.
