Cafe absolutely freezing- air con on full despite being only 5 degrees outside. Few people tried different seats before leaving as so uncomfortable. Asked staff if it could be turned down - accept if they can't but they were very offhand- even if they had said they would raise it but no apology just " there is nothing we can do "

Felt the need to write a review due to the disgusting attitude from the staff, snatching receipts out of hand when the order was wrong and speaking to my mother and i like children. Then to be told they were out of salmon when there’s a whole supermarket downstairs?

Went in to use the cafe, gutted the main menu options weren't available, ended up with a toastie. I don't know if they were understaffed, but there was a build up of used trays, to the point that there was no option but to leave it on the table. The lady heating toasties etc, seemed quite stressed.

Visited Monday 14/9/25. Dreadful. Huge queue, very slow service (all staff seemed to be in a daze) and only one person on the till. And she needed to keep going for plates, glasses etc (despite counting 4 other people plus a manager). Eventually another person came to the till, but she was no better. Went for a coffee, it literally took an hour. And the decaf coffee was rubbish. I left half of it. The iced bun was nice though. The manager needs to learn how to manage, I think. Won't be hurrying back.
