Hotel stay for 2 nights (over weekend) and would recommend. We were attending london stadium event and sightseeing in the city over a Friday - Sunday trip. Hotel was at a high standard and would recommend. Great location for underground Discount on spend on bar / restaurant services to hotel guests a nice touch. Hotel staff at check in were great and explained all to us. Our visit was during the recent mid/high 30s temperature and we managed a sleep with the excellent fan provided in the room. In room fridge with both bottled water and jugs of chilled water were great at times of heat…. Lo

Great local with a small hotel and ballroom/function room above. As I'd come for an event, spent most of the time in the ballroom which is roomy, well equipped and a pleasant temperature. Small bar there kept us ticking over nicely and staff were great, with a smaller food menu than the main pub being tasty and amazingly quick. The food in the main pub was even better and had a wider range. Drinks are "London prices" but food is pretty good value for the quality. Plenty of events on chatting to regulars with something for everyone and a genuine community spirit.

We had our wedding party in the ballroom here last weekend. I am so so glad we chose this venue (having always enjoyed coming here to the pub). It was truly amazing! The space was perfect and it couldn’t have gone better. We had a band and it is the perfect set up for live music. The food & drinks were great and the room didn’t need much at all as it is grand just on its own. Charley and Clio couldn’t have done more to make it so special and nothing was too much trouble for them. They knew exactly what we wanted and the night was just awesome. we would highly recommend! We also stayed in the R

A fantastic local pub in Leytonstone, East London with a really welcoming atmosphere. The team, led by Clio, do a great job making everyone feel comfortable and well looked after. The service is friendly and the vibe is exactly what you want from a proper neighbourhood pub. The food is excellent, I recently had the fish and chips, and it was spot on. Great flavour, nicely presented, and proper pub quality. What many people may not know is that there is also a boutique-style hotel above the Red Lion pub, offering comfortable ensuite rooms that are perfect for visitors staying in East London.
