Two of us were visiting London on a wet and miserable afternoon, and needed a hot drink. I had visited Mario's many years ago and wanted to find out if it was still there. I am pleased to say it's even better than last time. Even though we only wanted drinks, we received a warm welcome and had an interesting chat with the owners. The menu looked great, and the owners' description of their home-made pizza made us wish we could have stayed longer. Service is prompt and the prices are very reasonable. The cafe is tucked away just off the Thames path and is a welcome retreat from the buzz of Canar

I’ve been coming to Mario’s for years, well before it was called Mario’s. Today I came back for my first time in maybe a year plus. It’s had a huge upgrade and looks better than ever. As always the food is delicious! Of course we can’t forget the staff, always extremely pleasant and greet you with a warm welcome! Even after a year of not coming the owner still remembers me, which was a really nice plant surprise!

I never thought I’d say this, but I really liked the English breakfast there. It's hard to pinpoint what makes it special—I guess a little bit of everything, paired with an absolutely charming owner. The place is super down-to-earth yet serves fantastic-quality food. Definitely pay a visit if you happen to wander near Canary Wharf.
