First time visiting this pub yesterday and would highly recommend to all. Great size venue with lots of comfortable seating options and great outdoor facilities with large screens and plenty of heaters. The food was delicious and all came together for all four of us and even the chips stayed warm till you finished them yum . Also very nice to see three large shuffle board games in there great for all the family and friends

Early mothers day lunch with 2 adult daughters. Decided on the 3 plates offer so we could all share. Food was delicious, quick service and our server Milly was great.

We travelled hundreds of miles to celebrate an 80th birthday at the Pippin. To say we were disappointed is a big understatement. The attitude of the staff was very rude , the food was not hot or appetising, and in spite of having booked our table several weeks in advance we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. The excuse given was a booking for 79 people on a bus tour which had been also booked. We were there well before the buses arrived and were slightly early for our 1 pm booking but were still made to wait until after 2pm. We were unable to order what we wanted because they did

£100+ Me and two friends were ordering drinks at the bar with one member of staff already pouring our drinks, my friend asked another if it was possible to get some ice. This particular member of staff reacted very hostile while she said that she was busy. Understanding this, my friend said that she was quite rude in the way she spoke to us. In reaction to this, the member of staff, named Millie, began swearing and shouting at my friend, which was not needed, as she attempted to explain that she understood the situation as card machines were down and the bar staff appeared to be busy.
