A lovely meal at the Chiltern Hundreds last night. I had been so tempted by the lamb shank shepherd's pie and I finally took the plunge. Oh my goodness! From the creamy cheesy mash, to the beautifully cooked lamb shank and luscious gravy it was "banging". Hubbie had the venison burger and that was fantastic too! He loved every element. Service was smashing from Tracy and Sandra. Wonderful evening thank you.

Popped in for a relaxing chilled lunchtime meal. Food was good, the service was friendly and very interactive. I'm a sucker for banter. Lots of parking easy access. Recommend for a meal, beer and pudding

This Chef & Brewer pub (part of Greene King) offers good value for money especially with the AA discount of 15%. For a chain brand pub meal I thought our Sunday roast was pretty decent. A good selection of roast & standard pub offerings on the Sunday menu. The Yorkshire pud rivalled a Toby Carvery Yorkshire in size & tasted as good. I had the Turkey roast & found it very nice. Would have preferred slightly less cabbage & more carrots but that’s personal choice. Also, the sprouts were frozen rather than fresh so didn’t taste great but were edible. Portion size was good. A starter and ma

An extremely wonderful Sunday Roast Turkey dinner before I started my post-Christmas diet - just what I needed !!! Really genuinely helpful, funny, and professional staff - very nice to see, especially after Christmas and early New Year. I'll hopefully be back for that gorgeous looking Roast Beef as a reward soon !!!
