Crosspool Tavern, Sheffield Sunday Carvery at Crosspool Tavern had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with staff who were genuinely friendly and happy to have a laugh. From the bartender to the chefs, everyone made us feel welcome, and a lady even helped with our table and opened a window when it got too hot — small touches that really stood out. I had the leek & potato vegan tart which was delicious, the chef kindly delivers to our table, and was very down to earth, it was great to see they offer plenty of other options too. Desserts were tasty, though on the small side — especially the chocolat

Bowled over!!!!! I tried to book a table for 9ppl the day before Mother’s Day without expecting any chance whatsoever and as I expected there was no availability whatsoever on the booking app. I called the restaurant to see if we could get 2 tables and split our party. Not only did they pulled out the stops to accommodate this, we actually got 2 tables next to each other. Everyone loved their meal and all the staff were run off their feet but remained pleasant and friendly. Thanks for helping us to make memories Crosspool Tavern 😍

Louise was our waitress and was so friendly and efficient. She stood out from the rest of the staff as she was smiling and nothing was too much trouble. She was especially good with our 3 year old daughter. Louise’s friendly service made us definitely want to return again.
