Pret usually has good food but they are still using paper cups with plastic lids for eating in. And all plastic cups for cold drinks. Why can't they just accept that plastic poses a danger to our health and the environment and provide glass or clay cups like many other cafés (which incidentally charge around the same). I won't buy my coffee from Pret any more until they change their policies regarding pollution of the environment and support for the oil industry (plastic is a product of the oil industry).

Solid Pret right in the centre. Super convenient, coffee is consistently good, and service is quick even when it’s busy. Gets quite crowded so seating can be tricky, but great for a quick grab-and-go.

Bought the coffee subscription a month ago and since then this has been my fav constant place! I worked from the cafe upstairs once and it was very peaceful in the afternoon. Good to sit upstairs if you want to work or study. Also the coffee subscription has made it difficult to get coffee in prime time. Most of the time it’s crowded and the staff is in so hurry they serve almost cold beverages even if you ask for a hot one! So make sure you visit in calm time. But overall great place, service and products!

I ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk here. I saw the barista add the matcha powder directly into the cup and made my latte. Bare in mind matcha needs to be whisked in hot water and then it needs to be poured on top of the milk. I understand it’s a multinational company but the least you could’ve done is have a pre mix which would have tasted much better. I normally enjoy matcha with coconut milk but this tasted diabolical £4 down the drain. Literally!
