Finally tried Chaiiwala UK and honestly… it lived up to the hype. The chai had that proper strong desi taste, full of flavour, comforting, and exactly the kind of tea that reminds you of home. The food was so satisfying too. Everything tasted fresh, spicy in the right way, and full of flavour. The vibe of the place felt very UK Desi street food style, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for chai dates, quick bites, or just sitting and talking for hours over a cup of chai. Definitely one of those places you end up craving again after leaving. Would 100% go back whenever

We came here for breakfast and left extremely disappointed. The prices are ridiculously high for what you get, and the food quality doesn’t come close to justifying it. Portions were small, presentation was average, and the taste was nothing memorable. Service was slow and inattentive, especially for a breakfast spot where quick service is expected. Overall, it felt like we were paying for the name and location rather than the actual experience.

I regularly visit Reading Chaiwala and it’s honestly one of my favourite places to relax. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special. The tea is absolutely amazing — full of flavour and always served perfectly. They also have a great selection of food, and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a peaceful chai break. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good tea, tasty food, and excellent hospitality!

Visited Chaiiwala in Reading today and unfortunately the "samosas" were really disappointing... They were bland, lacked flavour, and just didn’t taste good at all. Definitely not what we expected! On the positive side, the gulab jamuns were delicious (highly recommended) and the karak chai was good.
