Had a really enjoyable visit to Crispy Dosa on Oxford Road and overall it was a solid experience. The food quality is genuinely good fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. You can tell they care about what they're putting out, and it shows on the plate. However, one thing I have to flag the chole bhatura portion is on the stingy side. The bhatura was fine, but the chole felt like it had been rationed very carefully! No extra chole on the side, which for someone who likes to dunk and scoop generously, was a bit of a letdown. Absolutely fantastic experience! The food here was amazing and had proper authentic Indian spice, something you rarely find elsewhere. Food was spicy, rich, and full of flavour, just the way it should be. It really stood out compared to many other places that tend to tone the spice down. The price was also very reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, a great dining experience and I’ll definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in Reading. Highly recommended!

Visited Crispy Dosa, Reading and really enjoyed the food. Super tasty South Indian flavours done right! We had medu vada, masala ghee podi dosa, and of course the filter coffee — everything was spot on. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the podi added a lovely kick, and the filter coffee was just what you expect at the end of a great meal. ☕ Service was good as well — friendly and efficient. Definitely a solid place if you’re craving authentic South Indian food in Reading. Highly recommended! 🙌
