Not the busiest night at the Griffin. Very friendly welcome 😁 Great selection of 🍺 and wine 🍷 😁 Starters very good. Main meals good but fish cakes over done and eggs too hard🙁 Risotto very good😁 Toilets clean and tidy. Plenty of paid parking. Choose from the menu plus some specials😁 Big place but a bit lacking in atmosphere when it’s quiet. Serving staff very friendly and helpful 😁 Would go back 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nice cosy pub. Tasty food. But the main asset - I'm a lone traveller for work a lot, so eating out can sometimes feel weird / lonely - but Lucian made me feel so welcome and looked after straightaway. Will be back again 🙏
