Jimmy’s Reviews★★★★★What an amazing pub. Loved it here. Spent a couple hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks were great. The food was delicious. The pub itself is excellent, caked in history and decorations. Last but least it’s situated on the Thames with great views. Couldn’t recommend it more !
Jimmy Cool★★★★★As one of London's most historic pubs, The Mayflower is dripping with atmospheric and makes the most of its charming riverside location, with an outdoor decking area right above the Thames. Inside it has the atmosphere of the quintessential English pub: low beams, dark nooks and questionable taxidermy. The staff are great and even when it's busy (and it usually is) they make an effort to catch your eye and remember your name. I had the fish and chips which was excellent. Nothing unique or different about it, just freshly prepared, well-cooked food made with care and served with love. London ha
Dominique Jasmine★★★★★Been here previously in November for their roast dinner and more recently yesterday for a bank holiday lunch with my friend. The food has very generous portions which is lovely and the food has great flavour too. Reasonably priced for both food and drink and the location is right on the Thames. I have to admit the pub is a bit on the small side and the restaurant area upstairs to me is a little cramped but it’s still a nice environment. You do need to book in advance
Funda Erdoyuran★★★★The pub itself is beautiful with a great atmosphere and the starters were really good. We booked a table for six about a month in advance, but unfortunately the table was very small. With coats and winter clothing it felt quite cramped and not very comfortable. Also, many dishes on the menu had already sold out, so we had to choose from what was left. I ordered the beef sirloin roast, but sadly it wasn’t great the meat was very chewy and full of sinew, so it was difficult to eat. Overall, a lovely pub with a nice vibe, but the dining experience could have been much better.
