Gavin Travers★The app to order was down. Went to order it at the counter, one lady was infront of me and said "Don't do it, I've been waiting over an hour" I thought ahe was joking - she wasn't. After an hour and a half she was served, to use the guy behind the counters words "partially cooked chips"....the woman demanded a full refund after rightfully venting. I waited around 50 mins for my food. The fish was severely over cooked as it had been sat in the oil whilst they changed over the gas cylinders - the assistant kindly offered to cook me a fresh portion, it was small.....the large cod was anything but
Hazel Lyric★★★★★We visited The Catch four years ago last time we visited the area and it was great so we returned again today and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Not greasy at all. The chips are crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, not limp and soggy! Portions were huge and very reasonably priced, our family of 5 was very well fed with food left over for £20. Honestly the best chip supper around, you won't be disappointed!
Nancy Msouhli★★★★★Went for a walk and stumbled upon this fish and chip shop. Two young lads serving. Very welcoming. Fish crispy and surprisingly not oily. Definitely if I am back in Hastings worth the bus ride,to get here
Glenn Gilham-Shorter★★★First time at The Catch , 1 x regular cod & chips 1 x large haddock & chips (cooked fresh) 2 x cans of pop £24 odd average price I guess but not a cheap meal . Wasn't wow'd really but there you go. Still on the search for a decent chippy.
