Lovely old pub, very cosy with helpful staff. Felt very comfortable there until a group with loads of young kids came in and all of a sudden, quiet time was over. Personally I don't understand why children are allowed in any pub 😕 🤷 🤔

Lovely pub, they serve their own Sam Smith drinks, which are good. Food however wasn’t good- chicken wings were microwaved, deffo not from the fryer, halloumi sticks were served with mayo and little harissa sauce on top. Room for improvement!

Not much remains of St Giles but this very traditional Sam Smith’s pub is a gem. Lots of different rooms and a covered outdoor area to the side make it stand out. I’m not a fan of Sam Smith’s beer and I find the mobile phone / laptop ban a bit draconian, but the barman was very good about the latter when I visited. Very friendly staff and they were sanitising tables immediately after someone left. Deserving of 5 stars.

Lovely place to have a quiet beer in the afternoon!! The Beautiful interior of the pub will throw you back to ye good ‘ol days. Also the backyard garden is a really nice and quiet space to enjoy a delicious pint of stout. If you are a fan of the Samuel Smith Brewery this is a good stop for your taste buds.
