Great find, being gluten intolerant it is a rare event when I can choose anything from the menu and not have any worries about cross contamination. The service was attentive and prompt, the food very good. We opted for Haddock and chips with a side of home made Yorkshire caviar (mushy peas). Fully recommended.

I'm on an extended trip to England. This place is going to be a regular stop for me. I had the rock eel and chips. Let me just say in the US we are missing out on this amazing protein and this one was cooked perfectly. I also had the cod/haddock on a previous visit. Also come very well. The chips (fries for the uncultured Americans) are done the right was with a par cook and cool then second fry leaving them crisp and irresistible. The only recommendation would be for them to be salted hot instead of at the table but I get why it's not. Also tried the oysters. Very good. It's fresh oysters.

Myself and some friends had a meal here today and I can honestly say it was the best gluten free fish and chips I've ever had. Along with the food came a warm welcome on arrival and seen to our table. The service was very friendly. I would highly recommend 👌
