The service was attentive and prompt, the food very good. We opted for Haddock and chips with a side of home made Yorkshire caviar (mushy peas). Fully recommended.

Let me just say in the US we are missing out on this amazing protein and this one was cooked perfectly. I also had the cod/haddock on a previous visit. Also come very well. The chips (fries for the uncultured Americans) are done the right was with a par cook and cool then second fry leaving them crisp and irresistible. The only recommendation would be for them to be salted hot instead of at the table but I get why it's not. Also tried the oysters. Very good. It's fresh oysters.
