1st time we went to this cafe the young girl on the till wasnt there and the other women were all happy smiley pleasant and the food was really nice. We had ordered the same we would get anywhere so our order never changes.. however today i went to order the same breakfast butties and was surprised to see the till been been run by what looks like a school girl who is ignorant and needs a hearing aid as the cafe is quiet inside.. got my order and the woman who gave me it outside shouted what it was to get the attention of the right persons order. Popped in for a spot of lunch whilst husband at the Optegra eye hospital . I had poached eggs on toast - perfect and a lovely cup of tea. Lovely warm atmosphere and presented well and tasty .

I drive past this place fairly frequently but had never been in before, mainly because parking can be a little tricky when that road is busy. As it was 8am on a Saturday and fairly quiet, I decided to nip in for a takeaway coffee and bacon sandwich. The coffee was nice, but the bacon only had a very quick 20 second flash on the grill, so the fat was still quite stringy. I appreciate that the bacon sits in a hot hold and therefore doesn’t need long on the grill, but the bacon was lukewarm and undercooked. Popped in for brunch, we were recommended this place by a friend, so thought we'd try it. Staff are really nice and helpful, there is parking outside, but it is busy, so be prepared for this. Food is great, prices are normal. Will pop in again if in the area :)
