I’ve been to 33 different Hooters across the United States due to the nature of my work and a couple family friends that are in significant higher tier management in the company. The experience I had at the Abilene location was roughly the most unforgiving one I’ve had. In fact, it was the first Hooters I’ve been to where I sat at the bar for a considerable amount of time and actually had to approach a staff member and actually ask if I may order a drink and some food. This location is a big disappointment. We had to wait at least 15 minutes or longer to be seated since host was not available and server at the bar didn't even greet us. I called the restaurant itself to see if we can get someone to seat us but no one picked up the phone. We finally get seated and server mentioned that there were only 2 severs. Asked to be seated at another table since the table rocks but server said they want to keep everyone in the same area. Ok I'm being generous to give a 2 star rating across the board. This establishment is lame, overpriced, and the he atmosphere sucks. Went with my son and grandson and to be honest we waited for a hostess to notice 5 people standing at the station to be seated on a Sunday evening about 7:30 and the place was not busy at all and the waitress we got acted like she was put out because we were there and then we ordered drinks and appetizers took forever to get drinks but they were good. As for the appetizers, the shrimp was good.. But the Lots of Tots was about 10 tater tots with cheese and bacon b

Went on a Monday at 6pm we got sitted right away. Our food came out fast same with drinks. Everything was amazing. Our server was a pregnant young lady. Very attentive. Thank you for a good experience. Was adamant about going here because of the reviews. But glad we still went. 👌 It was 6 of us btw . Only complain was that the air was off and it was a bit hott.
