Voodoo roll: was a bit too saucey and the fish taste got lost. But overall pretty enjoyable and satisfying of a bite Platter / set (premium): The sushi rice is on point and really stood out in the tuna roll. The fish was at a great temperature and very fresh. They all had distinct textures and the flavours were well complimented by the wasabi (which is really wasabi not dyed horseradish). Their soy sauce is also more gentle which I liked. Their unagi don was awesome. Big portion and the sweet / savory balance on the sauce was *chefs kiss* 😘 the yuzu cheesecake was good, it’s a small slice

We went at peak time on a Saturday night and had to wait 50 minutes for a table of 8. They were very courteous and accommodating. The food was delicious, although the complexity of the flavor profile masked the freshness of the fish. I was really impressed by the quality of what I paid for, so five stars all around. The decor and atmosphere were really cool, and the service was good as well! I liked the Shishito roll, Phat Boy roll, and king salmon appetizer the most. The Yuzu Japanese cheesecake was lightly sweet.

Best gas station food I’ve had in the last couple years for sure! Delicious sushi - one of the better places in the Triangle. It was full when we ate, and service was kind of slow. Totally worth the wait though. Good selection of Japanese beers plus Thai tea! Worth making a reservation ahead of time. Parking is a bit of a pain, with only about 7 spots set aside for the restaurant. Many, many spaces said ‘no restaurant parking’.

Some of the freshest sushi I have ever eaten. I have celiac disease and they were able to accommodate easily. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I had the Phat Boy roll as well as sashimi and nigiri. Highly recommend!
