A bit more open and airy than a lot of Irish pubs, this place had lots of seating and a good size bar area. Nice atmosphere but not as homey as other similar pubs.Food we had was mediocre (a Ruben lacking sauerkraut and sauce…what?)

The The Black Rose was such a great time after a couple hours of shopping around Boston. We were craving a warm meal and a fun atmosphere, and it delivered on both. The live music was incredible, and I loved how the performers interacted with the crowd, it made the whole experience feel so lively. The lobster roll and clam chowder were both amazing, and we had to top it all off with a Guinness to end the night. Such a fun spot overall! Would definitely come back!

Had a great time at The Black Rose! The ambiance was amazing, and the whole place had such a lively and energetic vibe. The staff and people around were really kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely up to the mark and made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in Boston. Since everything from the atmosphere to the service and food was so good, I can’t rate it anything less than 5 stars!

Hostess and security persons were awesome personable and professional. Bartender was quick to notice me while waiting for our seats, Keltic music was great, our waitress was awesome and our food, buffalo cauliflower, Jameson wings, the pretzel. Thanks look forward to seeing yall again soon. Worth your time to visit
