The Walnut Room is a pretty famous place, it's been in Marshall Feilds for Decades. Its a very classic place, Walnut veneer paneling is everywhere, there is wonderful window seating, a beautiful courtyard with glass skylight, and classic bar. The place is pretty large, in the past it would be pretty busy and full, sadly now when I visit, it's not to busy, actually kinda empty. Food is good, small menu with some historic dishes. Pricing is actually very reasonable, especially for the environment. Service is always great, very friendly and attentive. Nice, classic spot that you should try atleas

I enjoyed the savory sandwiches- especially the cucumber. I appreciated that there was fresh fruit included. The blueberry scones were small, but delicious.

Our server was great, covering most of the tables that were sat, but still attentive to us. The food seemed a l
