I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the Wendy’s location in Clinton, Maryland. This issue has become a recurring operational concern rather than an isolated incident. On multiple occasions, I have visited this restaurant before 10:00 PM to place an order through the drive-thru, despite the restaurant’s posted closing time of 1:00 AM. Each time, I have experienced excessive wait times at the drive-thru intercom with no employee available to take my order. Although the food was tasty - we ordered a pecan salad, chili, a cheeseburger & drink at the drive- thru window at approximately 9:15pm; when we asked for a receipt for our credit card purchase that’s when the atmosphere of the whole experience changed!!! IDK what was up but we were told we had to wait two hours for their system to restart to get a receipt for our purchase & the order window was slide closed in our faces when we tried to get a clear explanation of what was going on. If I could give 0 stars, I wouldn't hesitate for a second; they don't deserve even one. I want to share my experience. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 8:31 p.m. The service is absolutely terrible; honestly, it’s enough to completely ruin your mood. They really ought to replace their staff or provide them with training—though, frankly, I doubt training would make any difference; it would be better if they simply replaced them permanently. The way I specifically order something and told them exactly what I didn’t want on my meal, only to get home and have Mayo, tomatoes, pickles etc. all the things I said to leave off of my sandwich. This particular Wendy’s just doesn’t care! It’s sad. They never pick up the phone. I was NOT going to leave. A review but since no one picked up the phone in two days I decided to leave a review to spare another customer the inconvenience. I’m sick of wasting my hard earned money! I’m done!
