I went in about an hour before closing and ordered a hot decaf coffee and some munchkins. I was told that they had no coffee. (What?!?! It’s a coffee and donut shop!). After asking for a refund of what I had paid at the ordering kiosk, I was offered a latte instead, which I turned down because I wanted a hot coffee When I mentioned I would take regular coffee if they didn’t have decaf, a server told me that they had decaf. I told her that was my order and that was what I wanted so she proceeded to bring me a decaf. She also gathered my munchkins and even put in a few extra, which I appreciate

I want to give a huge shoutout to the Dunkin’ Donuts located on Old Statesville and Catawba in Cornelius. Even though this location doesn’t have a drive-thru—which can be a little inconvenient—the service here truly makes the walk worth it. Every time I visit, the employees are full of joy, energy, and genuine smiles. From my experience, they consistently go above and beyond to make sure their customers leaves happy. I love Dunkin. I truly do but today we went and saw so much food thrown in the trash. I am so confused as to why we do this knowing people are starving and hungry. I think the closing manager should take what is left over at the end of the day and feed the homeless. And not only at this Dunkin but at evey Dunkin and restaurants as well. This is the only reason I am giving this place a 3. This was hard to see knowing I was once homeless and hungry. We as a country need to do better.
