My family took me here for my birthday and it was the best gift ever! The fish is very fresh and the flavor profiles of each dish were out of this world. My favorite was the chutoro nigiri because the fish was very rich and buttery and the citrus zest added a bright fresh component while balancing out the fattiness of the fish. I liked it so much we ordered it twice! The desserts were so amazing and creative. Our server Jonathan was very kind and attentive and really added to the whole experience. Now i cant stop recommending Uchi to all my friends haha

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious vegetarian options. I absolutely loved the ambience, and every dish I tried was outstanding. The avocado nigiri, spicy crunchy roll, Kinoko Nabe hot tasting bowl, and warm banana cake were all absolutely fantastic. The menu prices are actually affordable, especially during happy hour, it's small plates, so price adds up when you want to try everything so I think that's why the average price is listed at $100.

We brought an out-of-town family member to Uchi Dallas for a special dinner, and it absolutely delivered. We started with the Brussels sprouts, Hama chili, and beet dish. The beets were a pleasant surprise and a great way to start the meal. We chose the Omakase and Somakase experiences because they introduce us to dishes we likely wouldn’t order ourselves, and that decision paid off. The lobster dish was exceptional, with just the right hint of spice. I’ve never been a huge lobster fan, but it ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night. The biggest surprise was an oyster with strawberry. It sounds unusual, but it worked beautifully. The combination created one of those rare moments where you just stop and appreciate how many different flavors are happening at once. Another favorite was the Kinoko Nabe, where the crispy rice paired perfectly with the beef and mushroom flavors. The service was outstanding. We did the vegetarian Omakase tasting meal. Abbie was our server and she was awesome. She customized our dinner to what we wanted. Each dish was really good. But avocado nigiri and crispy tofu makimano were my favorites. We sat in the patio and the ambience was very good. It was quieter and felt more cozier. We highly recommend this place and it was fun to celebrate birthday and anniversary there.

We took a large group here for my wife’s birthday and it was still as good as i remembered it was. Everything we had was really good and plated very nicely. I highly recommend Kinoko Rabe, nice flavor with burnt crispy rice at the bottom of the clay pot with perfectly cooked mushrooms. The atmosphere of the restaurant was second to none. Service for a 10 person table is usually slow but they had it down with extra assistance at all times. Nice job Uchi!
