Kunafa bliss. Back in about 2010, I entertained a client from Monrovia, Liberia. I took him to that place on Warren which had their brand of pita bread in most of the local stores at the time. He saw the millet version of Kunafa and exclaimed “My grandmother used to make it this way!” He was so excited and I got my first taste for that millet-style, chewy cheese version on that same day. Had a craving for it recently, but settled on the creamy cheese vermicelli version and I wasn’t satisfied. Masri Sweets was recommended, and they delivered! Stretchy chewy like I remember. First time in and absolutely looooved what we tried! The cannolis are the best I've ever had, and the knafeh (I believe that's what the red one is called) is delicious! Almost didn't get a picture before everything was devoured. Atmosphere is lovely, service is incredibly friendly and fast, and they offered our kiddos a complimentary little treat. Parking was also good, there's a small lot in the back. We live a couple hours away but came to explore Detroit so I'm glad we found this place and will definitely be back if we find ourselves in town again. ❤️

We ordered kunafa along with a few other desserts, and everything was fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced... not overly sweet, just done right. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly welcoming, made sure we were enjoying everything, and even gave us some complimentary desserts to try. This is my go-to kunafa spot every time I’m in Dearborn, and experiences like this are exactly why. Finished up a Dr’s appointment across the road and thought to stop by and give it a try and was really impressed! The store is spacious with couches and chairs to sit and the amount of variety of sweets was great! We got the Cheese Kunafa and the sweet cream Kunafa and both were delicious. Definitely will stop by again if in the area!
