Stopped by this location at 141 Broadway Suite A in El Cajon and had a solid overall experience. It looked like the place was being run on a skeleton crew of just two people, including Zack at the front counter, and they still kept things moving smoothly. Zack was friendly, helpful, and provided great customer service despite being busy. The inside dining area was clean and organized, and restrooms require a key, which helps keep things controlled. I don’t know why I was the only one eating in the dining room, but I must say the dining room was exceptionally clean. My food was hot and cooked to perfection. I don’t know why this Del Taco is slow as I worked in the original Del Taco in Barstow, California and the food here is just as good. Everyone is missing out! I always come to the drive-thru at least once a week but this time I came inside and I ate and used the restroom. I should’ve taken pictures as my food was beautiful also! Just like the pictures! Excellent customer service today!! The young man was friendly and professional. This review is way overdue, but here we go. If you want hot fries THIS is the place to go. My favorite is the crunchy taco combo(no tomatoes)😉so good. The crew is the best I've experienced in drive thru. ALwAYS polite,and friendly. Today was the best, hot freshly made fries. Thank you!!

Decided to have del Taco for lunch since it was close by to my work. I waited in Drive Thru for 10 mins. I only get a 30 like most people. I sat at the window for a good 5 minutes with the window open, wasn’t acknowledged. Payment wasn’t asked for nothing. Not even a “hi, I’ll be right with you”. Unbelievable. I can’t even imagine the time that’s on their DT timer. It was more so the lack of acknowledgement because the service member was at the window and walked away to do other orders. Doesn’t make any sense. Now there’s no lunch.
